Project Learn works with adults and families who need help improving their English-speaking skills to be better parents, efficient workers and involved community members.
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses provide instruction for non-native English speakers so they may improve their English language and civics skills. Through ESOL courses students are better prepared to live, work and study in this country. Courses are offered at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels and include speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary development, grammar and civics.
Specialized courses in pronunciation and conversation are also offered. Fluency and accuracy in both spoken and written English are emphasized. Our small classes allow each participant a maximum amount of individual attention and an opportunity to develop conversational skills.
Courses are free, but students must be at least 18 years old to enroll. Interested students must complete orientation prior to being placed in an ESOL class.
