To be considered eligible for Project Learn services, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old;
- Not be enrolled or required to be enrolled in secondary school under state law; and
- Lack sufficient mastery of basic educational skills to enable the individual to function effectively in society; do not have a secondary school diploma or its recognized equivalent, and have not achieved an equivalent level of education; or are unable to speak, read, or write the English language.
If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must:
- Provide written evidence of an age and schooling certificate (work permit) and official withdrawal from school; or
- Provide written evidence of a high school diploma.
